"Blues and rock music as an art form needs to be kept alive. I think people yearn for some authenticity and a feeling of elation in the music they listen to,” says Nick, “on this EP I wanted to achieve a particular excitement with an element of defiance on every track; I’d call it an attitude of rock'n roll positive provocation.”

The release of “Blues ‘n Greens” is an accumulation of five years hard work and planning for Nick J Harvey. Between trips to LA and Nashville it’s been a quest of gaining industry insights, refining musicianship, writing, and developing production techniques to present Nick J Harvey's sonic vision.

The first track on the EP, "Blues ‘n Greens” takes the listener on a ride of rhythmic and harmonic twists, whilst maintaining the tradition of a blues shuffle with a drive of a good rock track with a “grab you by the throat quality.” 

The remaining tracks "Cherry Brandy" will have your feet flat to the floor rockin', whilst "Black Rock" turn things around with an acoustic sound and takes a mixture of country and exotic musical elements for a listener to sojourn to distant lands. 

Nick says, “Getting the EP out to the world is important to me because I believe that people still love quality music. I’m passionate about taking the format of the blues and classic rock to see if we can push it further. ‘Blues 'n Greens’ is a good start. I’m excited about this year and especially the tracks I have coming out later this year.”
